Firstly, a common misconception is that we are Kirklees Council, and that we cover their responsibilities. 

 

As a business improvement district, we work with the council to support one another in different areas, but we are completely independent. We’re funded by levy payers (Town Centre Businesses) to fill the gaps where the council’s responsibilities end.
