Huddersfield BID bring back Lego Trail for 2022

We’re bringing back the Huddersfield Lego Trail for 2022!

We held the trail the first time last year and it proved to be a big success. From August 1 to 31 families will be able to follow the trail to discover some of the most recognisable landmarks, cars and characters.

The John Smith’s Stadium, Castle Hill’s Victoria Tower, the Jurassic Park gates, two Star Wars helmets, a Formula E Porsche and a McLaren Senna GTR are featured among the 17 Lego builds.

Families can take part in the trail by using the Loyal Free app to be guided through the trail and scan a QR code at each location. Participants who find all 17 Lego builds and scan the QR codes will be entered into a draw to win over £60 worth of Lego.

Huddersfield BID manager Sam Sharp said: “Once again we are running a fabulous Lego Trail around the Huddersfield BID zone and this year it is going to be bigger and better.

“We have more models planned and improved backdrops, plus more businesses can get involved and join the trail.

“We hope everyone who takes part enjoys looking at and discovering the models in the various interesting locations we have chosen. Don’t forget to download the Loyal Free app, take part in the trail and have a chance to win an epic Lego model prize.

“One of our key aims is to make Huddersfield a safe and attractive place to be and by running trails and events such as the Lego Trail, the town benefits from footfall and families can enjoy days out for free. We can’t wait to welcome people to our Lego Trail.”

Meanwhile, Sam has also revealed that our Huddersfield BID Town Centre Support Officers (TCSOs) will now be called Huddersfield Street Rangers.

Our rangers are in town seven days a week and are all first aid-trained and work alongside the police to help keep people safe.
