Huddersfield BID is hosting Christmas Artisan Markets on New Street.

We’re delighted to host a Christmas Artisan Market across New Street to spread the Christmas cheer, promote small businesses in Huddersfield, and allow shoppers to purchase things they might not find in ordinary shops.

Our policy of keeping same sector traders to a maximum of 2-3 stalls means that Huddersfield’s Artisan Market will be full of variety, hand-crafted gifts.

Christmas Artisan Market dates are as follows:

  • Sunday November 6th 2022
  • Sunday December 4th 2022

If you would like to apply to trade at either Artisan Market, fill in the application form by clicking the green button below.

What should you expect from Huddersfield's Christmas Artisan Markets?

We’re kicking off our Artisan Markets with a Christmas special in November and December. But our Artisan Market will be running on the first Sunday of every month in 2023, from March.

From our Christmas specials, expect skilfully made items, hot food + drink, buskers, and lot’s of Christmas cheer!

The market will open at 10am and close at

Free parking is available in Huddersfield Town Centre until 12pm, so we recommend coming down early so you can save money on parking!

You should see the artisan market as you approach New Street, but if not, come to the other side of New Street. (New Street is all the way from Home Bargains to Boots Opticians!)
