Huddersfield BID are bringing back the Huddersfield Lego Trail for its third year in a row!

The Huddersfield BID team have built, hand-painted and crafted 14 Lego model displays to form the 2023 trail. The models include re-creations of iconic landmarks in Huddersfield. Get ready to see some stunning pieces of Lego art.

The trail will run on our LoyalFree app (free to download), which participants can use to find the Lego locations in Huddersfield. Once participants have discovered a model, all they need to do is scan the QR code at the location (which can be found near the till point). When all 14 QR codes have been scanned, participants can claim their free prize at the last stop, Hello Huddersfield!

This year, we are giving you THREE chances to win £50 worth of Lego!

• All participants will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win £50 worth of Lego
• Along the way, there are two Selfie Spots. Take a photo with the Lego model at either of the two locations and tag @huddersfieldbid and @hellohuddersfield on social media to be entered into the second prize draw to win £50 worth of Lego
• Finally, at the last stop, Hello Huddersfield!, participants can enter the ‘Guess how many Lego bricks’ competition to be entered into the third prize draw to win £50 worth of Lego

Why does Huddersfield BID run trails, like Lego Trail?

Organising trails is a great footfall driver and a way to encourage people into the town centre and get visitors to parts of town that they may not have been.

Stats from our Loyal Free app show that 82.3% of groups visit other businesses than those on the trail route and the average number of businesses visited by a group on and off trail is 13.

5% visit more than 10 other businesses than those on the trail routes and 98.7% spend money when taking part in a trail. It’s a fantastic way for people to see what Huddersfield town centre has to offer and encourages people to spend locally.
