Best Bar NoneAwards 2025

Best Bar None is a Home Office-supported accreditation scheme that recognizes and promotes excellence in licensed premises, such as pubs, bars, clubs, and restaurants.

By focusing on key areas like venue management, staff training, customer safety, and community engagement, the program helps to reduce alcohol-related crime and disorder, build positive relationships between venues and local authorities, and improve the knowledge and skills around the responsible management of licensed premises.

Implementing Best Bar None in Huddersfield enhances the town’s nightlife by ensuring safer and more welcoming environments for residents and visitors alike.

“Launching the Best Bar None Awards has been a personal goal of mine for the last 4 years and I am happy to say we are ready to go. The BBN awards will promote the excellent work and dedication of the Night-Time economy businesses within the Huddersfield Town centre. We have a wealth of quality establishments in our town and we should be encouraging people to visit them. Any establishment with an Accreditation is worthy of support, praise and promotion, which Huddersfield BID will do. Lets work together and shout about the Best Practice and efforts of our Night-Time Economy, as we move into some exciting times ahead for the town.”

Sam Sharp – Huddersfield BID     Manager
