2022 AGM: Reflecting on Huddersfield BID’s contributions so far

As we enter the season of change and new beginnings, there may be no time more appropriate to reflect on Huddersfield BID’s contributions to town development so far.

We’re welcoming local levy paying businesses to our Annual General Meeting to discuss our previous campaigns, developments and direction for the future. It’s an opportunity to learn about the progress and challenges that we’ve faced as an organisation within the past year and will allow attendees to directly ask any questions to the BID’s manager, Sam Sharp.

This year, we’re proud to be hosting our AGM on 28th April at a fantastic, local facility: the Lawrence Batley Theatre. The event will take place from 5pm-6:30pm and will give town centre businesses the chance to meet and catch up, whilst learning about the BID’s investments and upcoming opportunities within their 3rd term year.

Attendees will be able to view an in-depth presentation carried out by BID manager Sam, in addition to a rundown on recent marketing campaign performance.

What you can expect from the presentation:

  • Broken down statistics from recent projects (footfall, expenditure and general success).
  • Objectives and outcomes moving out of the pandemic
  • Information on our brand new ‘Hello Huddersfield!’ business facility (expenditure, opportunities available through the facility, how we’re using the space)
  • Details on our TCSO team (incidents they’ve attended, our collaborations with Kirklees Council and plans for the future)

We recognise and appreciate the amount of consistent hard work that our town center businesses contribute on a daily basis. Without them, Huddersfield wouldn’t have its bold and unique identity and we’re so grateful to have seen an amazing amount of support from you so far.

We’d love to use this upcoming event as an opportunity to communicate our ideas to our valued levy payers and hear your own thoughts about our developments so far.
