Businesses are being invited to drop in for coffee and a chat about the new Business Improvement District proposal at venues across the town centre on a Tuesday mornings throughout June and early July at any time between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The vision of the BID Business Plan is to ‘‘To develop Huddersfield into an accessible, safe, vibrant and attractive destination which celebrates its culture and heritage, serves its local business, university and residential community and is recognised nationally and internationally as a great place to be’. The plan has four key priority areas: promotion and animation of the town centre, accessibility, safety and security and the way the town looks and having a great business, leisure and cultural offer.
Vernon O’Reilly Chair of the Steering Group which has developed the BID Business Plan said, ‘We invite all businesses from the town centre and surrounding area to pop in and have a chat with different members of the Steering Group, to discuss their thoughts and views of the forthcoming BID and see how they can help make this great town even better
